Fraud is an
intentional
act committed to secure an unfair or unlawful gain.
Fraud includes many different kinds of inappropriate acts.
The WRDM have a ZERO TOLERANCE approach to fraud.
We would like to encourage our community members to assist us in reporting fraud or the possibility of fraud that may be committed by fellow members, healthcare providers or stakeholders. Do not feel intimidated. Help us to combat fraud. Like ourselves you should also have a zero-tolerance approach, as fraud prevention starts with you.
An anonymous, WRDM fraud line for community members and officials exists to support our drive to stamp out fraud. The line is constantly monitored and callers remain anonymous, unless they choose to be known.
If you suspect fraud within any of the West Rand Municipalities (WRDM, Mogale City, Merafong City, Randfontein or Westonaria) you can contact the fraud reporting facilities 24 hours a day, seven days a week and every day of the year. If you are afraid of being overheard when you use the telephone during the day, you can phone from home after hours.

You may remain anonymous if you wish.

Provide full details in respect of the fraudulent, corrupt or unethical practice.
Such details may include: Who, What, How, Where, When and the Value involved. -
Details of fraudulent actions can also be posted to the Fraud Service Manager,
Private Bag X033, Randfontein, 1759 or emailed to fraudline@wrdm.gov.za . -
